Key Responsibilities:

* to prioritize the IT demand coming from your area of the business

* to consult with the business, adding value through innovative uses of IT (i.e. solving business challenges and realizing new business opportunities)

* to act as the IT Single Point of Contact to business

 proactively engage with business. Understand and articulate the link between the business strategy and the IT strategy for your area

 create and communicate that strategy to allow other business units, areas of IT, stakeholders etc. to understand what they need to do in order to support it

 spend time with key business stakeholders, generating a solid understanding of their area of the business

 participate fully in the management team meetings and decision making for your area of the business, providing not only the IT expert input but also engaging in the broader business debate

 understand and articulate the goals and drivers of your business stakeholders, working in partnership with them to achieve those goals

 keep in regular contact with an extensive network across your area of the business and within IT

* to prioritize the IT demand coming from your area of the business

 partner with application support & project delivery teams to ensure that business needs are prioritized effectively and appropriately

 conduct rigorous and regular portfolio planning and analysis to be sure that the IT project portfolio for your area of the business is well prioritized and balanced between strategic vs. tactical, long-term vs. short-term, low risk vs. high risk projects etc

 analyze the cost/benefit of all new major projects

 manage Business expectations to ensure priority alignment

* to consult with the business, adding value through innovative uses of IT (i.e. solving business challenges and realizing new business opportunities)

 research best practice processes and technologies from outside the company, share conclusions and make recommendations to incorporate this best practice into business thinking

 generate stretching, challenging ideas that move the business agenda forwards through innovative IT solutions

 articulate how IT adds value to the business





Key Requirements:

complexity

* drive large complex projects without direct line management control of the resources working on those projects - i.e. managing in a matrix and the resulting emphasis on relationship building and management

specialised Knowledge:

* business and commercial knowledge - demonstrated deep understanding of China FMCG, OTC, or CHC business operations and processes

* ability to develop effective IT business strategies

* strong Innovate Thinking and Leading People behavioral capabilities

* evidence of driving business results through IT innovation

* experienced matrix manager , prefer pharmaceutical background
