IT Project Manager

We are currently recruiting for an IT Project Manager.



My client are seeking an IT project manager to oversee the governance, planning, structuring, leading and execution of my client international strategic projects or programmes.



The project manager will be responsible for understanding and supporting my client's key strategic objectives and position in the market place. You will initiate and design appropriate governance processes to ensure that the process on the projects/programmes are transparent and clear to all.



Key responsibilities;



- To plan and design the Programmes and proactively monitor overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate.

- Managing the Programme's budget, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realised benefits as the Programme progresses.

- Recording and reporting to ensure delivery of programmes/projects are to agreed timelines

- Managing third party contributions to the Programme

- Managing the communication with all Stakeholders

- Manage the dependencies and interfaces between projects/programs across the business

- Responsibility for the overall integrity and coherence of the Programme, developing and maintaining the Programme environment to support each individual project within it.

- To act as interface between all areas and business functions to ensure that all aspects of programme delivery are planned and managed effectively





The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of project life-cycles and methods. You will have knowledge of software development and full product life-cycles and have a successful track record or delivering a portfolio of projects in a matrix environment.



Prince II accreditation (desirable)

Educated to degree level (desirable)

Broad awareness of contractual terminology
