Marketing Programs Manager

HP Autonomy is seeking a marketing programs manager to join our Field Marketing team in San Francisco. The position requires a highly motivated and proactive individual who will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing a variety of marketing programs that support the expansion and growth of the company products and services. The candidate must thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, exhibit out-of-the-box thinking, and take great pride in their work. This position will be based in San Francisco, CA and report to the Director of HP Autonomy Field & Customer Marketing.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and execute a high volume of marketing programs, including tradeshows, seminars, and online events
• Act as primary event liaison and coordinate efforts across various business functions including telemarketing, field sales, product marketing, digital marketing, creative services, corporate communications, and others to meet program deliverables
• Manage the program budgets, contracts, and purchasing
• Identify the appropriate target audience for each program and coordinate audience acquisition
• Create email invitations, website copy, and registration forms, all with event-specific product messaging
• Develop and deliver event communication plans to key internal and external constituencies
• Deliver leads and meetings that meet the goals and metrics for each program
• Anticipate and solve program issues effectively
• Adhere to the program timelines
• Manage all internal and external staff related to the program

Qualifications
• 3+ years of marketing programs management experience
• Strong written, verbal, presentation and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly and within the constraints of timelines and budgets
• Demonstrated initiative and follow through in a fast-paced, fluid environment
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across other marketing and business functions
• Should enjoy and thrive working in a team environment
• Ability to travel domestically, approximately 25% of time
• Strong Word, Powerpoint and Excel skills
• Experience with Salesforce, Aprimo and Eloqua a plus
• Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications or related field
