Marketing Programs Manager

San Francisco Bay Area, US - Computer Software



Position Summary:

We are looking for a Marketing Programs Manager to join the Field Marketing team in San Francisco to plan, implement, deliver and track marketing programs that support the expansion and growth of the company products and services. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and proactive individual suited to a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This position will involve event management and coordination with Sales. Candidates will be resourceful and tenacious, exhibiting out-of-the-box thinking.


Responsibilities:

• Planning and implementing marketing programs, including trade shows, seminars, and online events


• Identify the appropriate target audience for each program and work with sales to ensure follow through of leads


• Create email invitations, website copy and registration forms, all with key event-specific product messaging


• Develop and deliver pre-, post- and onsite communication plans to key internal and external constituencies


• Deliver leads and meetings that meet the goals and metrics for programs


• Interface across the organization to gain access to information to complete programs


• Manage the program budgets, contracts, and purchasing


• Detect and solve program issues effectively


• Adhere to the program time lines


• Manage all internal and external staff related to the program




Qualifications




Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, journalism, communications, marketing or a related field. High GPA highly desired.


• At least 2 years experience in marketing and event management (internship experience will be considered).


• A service-oriented attitude


• Ability to plan and execute contingencies


• Strong attention to detail and organization


• Strong written, verbal, presentation and communication skills


• Ability to travel domestically


• Ability to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously


• High degree of attention to detail


• Demonstrated initiative and follow through in a fast-paced, fluid environment


• Ability to work in a team environment


• Creative, open-minded, and willing to learn


• High proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint





Skills:

• Superior project and time management skills


• Excellent interpersonal skills


• Possess analytical and good problem-solving skills


• Ability to excel under pressure


• Graphics art skills a plus
