A Europe-based, globally competitive Life Insurance firm, is actively searching for an experienced Project Manager for on-going, long-term projects.



Due to an upcoming IPO for the firm, the business is focused on long-term projects for business process re-engineering/improvement. The key areas will be related to Variable Annuities. This position will focus on the the "Claims" portion of the Insurance process - where customer's policies have matured or other actions need to be taken. This role will act as a Senior PM within a 2-3 person team to deliver Insurance Back-Office operations, Policy Administration and maturity/surrender payout operations projects.



The firm is looking a Project Manager with an Insurance background, ideally with Life Insurance industry experience. IT systems knowledge is not essential, but an understanding of Variable Annuities (SPVA) would be a plus. You should be able to cover a full spectrum of Project Management responsibilities, from planning and scheduling to stake-holder management (Business and IT side) and project delivery for multiple on-going projects. In the case of stake-holder and vendor management, Japanese language skills are required.
