The Site Services Technician is responsible for deploying and maintaining servers and the supporting infrastructure in a fast-paced environment with rapidly shifting priorities, while maintaining high availability. A strong attention to detail and effective documentation skills are critical components to success in this position.
Key Qualifications
- 2 or more years experience installing and troubleshooting server hardware.
- Ability to lift/move 50lbs equipment on a daily basis.
- 4+ years experience working in a large data center (10,000+ servers).
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Maintain high degree of self-motivation and independent decision-making.
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
- Drivers License and reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of TIA/EIA and ITIL standards and guidelines.

Education
•Familiarity with Apple’s Hardware Environment
Apple, IBM pSeries and xSeries, Sun, HP, Datadomain, NetApp, Teradata, IBM Storage
•Prefer an Associates or Bachelors degree
•BICSI/RCDD Certification
