Working closely with our clients, Accenture Consultants create, design, build and implement strategies that can help enhance business performance. While the specific type of work they do can vary, it generally aligns to management consulting, systems integration consulting or technology consulting. Typically, our team work at client sites, which may require travel.
Our Financial Services business is looking for experienced professionals to join our Distribution & Marketing Business Service. Members of the Distribution & Marketing team leverage their experience of transforming physical and digital channels, sales and servicing processes and key enablers such as customer analytics. In this fast-paced environment their ability to apply deep strategy development, identify value creating opportunities, architect business and operating models and deliver tangible business outcomes allows them to support our clients to make bold decisions on priority C-Suite issues.
Job Description
The Distribution & Marketing Business Service team at Accenture has the following responsibilities:
Provides solutions and subject matter expertise to complex business problems pertaining to Customer experience and value propositions, channel design & optimization, digital transformation delivery and other initiatives where an in depth knowledge of leading distribution & marketing capabilities is required.
Involved in setting strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility.
Interacts with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters.
Contributes to local, regional and global thought leadership to shape the nature of the financial services industry and highlight leading practices across Distribution, Marketing and Customer Analytics.
Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
Manages and drives large teams and/or complex work efforts (depending on level) at a client or within Accenture.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience within the Distribution, Marketing and Customer analytics solutions landscape and an understanding of how these can be leveraged to enable strategic outcomes
- Experience working to design and define Operating Model, Business and/or Enterprise Architecture
- Experience working at a consulting firm or equivalent in an internal consulting role
- Master of Business Administration or the equivalent graduate degree
Preferred Skills
- A clear point of view of the major trends and innovations influencing the consumer and business Financial Services landscape
- Experience serving as the business and/or enterprise architect for large transformational programs.
- Experience within digital industry, (not necessarily in Financial Services)
- Experience selling and delivering multi-functional programs to C-Suite and Business Unit leaders and translating the resulting recommendations into a successful design and execution program
- Familiarity with the core value levers, ability to construct compelling business cases, and proven ability to deliver programs that realize those benefits
- Proven experience with agile and waterfall delivery methodologies
- Experience in active roles in a proposal/business development activities
- Solid people development and practice development skills
- Network of strong relationships at C-suite and C minus 1 level
- Track record of published thought leadership, including media experience
- Understanding of Digital Industry threats and general marketplace and designing transformation to leverage digital technology for a client
- A creative / innovative mindset and the ability to ‘reimagine’ the nature of Financial Services products and services across all customer touch points
