Underwriting Manager (Commercial Lines)

Singapore, SG - Insurance

My client, a leading multinational insurer, is looking for an Underwriting Manager for their Commercial Lines business.



Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Lines Underwriting, you will lead a team of underwriters to maintain and update underwriting guidelines to align transitions in underwriting philosophy. Aside from monitoring profitability of the business and policies review, you will also support the Head of Department in documentation relating to compliance, risk management, internal and external audit. In addition, you will train and mentor staff within the department.



We are looking for individuals with at least 8 years of relevant working experience in Commercial Lines underwriting, and taken up supervisory responsibilities. You should have sound knowledge of General and Commercial Lines Insurance. Ideally, you have the necessary insurance certifications (ACII , ANZIIF or equivalent qualification).
