A leading Global Corporate and Investment bank is seeking an experienced credit risk analyst to handle front to end credit risk management including counterparty financial analysis, determination of internal risk rating and regular monitoring of counterparty performance to identify any emerging credit risk for large corporate clients in the Greater China region.



As a credit risk analyst, strong credit judgement will be relied upon as you proactively manage a distinct portfolio of counterparts to minimise credit losses through sector or country focus strategy, monitor portfolio, detect early warnings signals for problem accounts and assist the origination team on credit applications. Countries of coverage will primarily be Hong Kong and China. You will also build and maintain strong relationships with front office team.



With a minimum of 8 years relevant experience in corporate/investment banking credit risk management within a reputable financial institution, you will be familiar with risk assessments of large corporate clients, excercised delegated credit authority, and experience leading client due diligence meetings. You will be required to speak Mandarin in addition to English. Candidates will be required to have strong communication skills and out-side the box thinker when it comes to mitigating risk.
