Due to an increasing number of ongoing maintenance and improvement projects on the horizon, this well-known mine owner operator is looking for a Programme Manager to lead the newly created projects team.



You will manage a team of Project Managers, who in turn manage a large team of Engineers, Cost Controllers, Schedulers and Consultants. Using your knowledge of budget allocations and people resource you will ensure you are best placed to make educated decisions on projects when issues are escalated. You will be the central point of communication liaising between the Project Managers and the Senior Management team both on site and in the Head Office.



You will have an Engineering background along with demonstrated experience in delivering large scale projects across Brownfield and Greenfield sites. It is expected that you will have experience leading multi discipline management teams and be able to oversee projects within a variety of areas. This is a high profile role that liaises between key decision makes in a large firm and as such your high communications skills are paramount. Your technical skill coupled with your persuasive manner will ensure projects are completed on time and in budget whilst also keep key stakeholders on board throughout the process.



This is a long term contract with a family friendly roster FIFO from Adelaide. You will join this newly created projects team and have the rare opportunity to join this mine owner operator at a senior level of the business.
