Senior Manager - Treasury Scotland

Edinburgh, United Kingdom, GB - Accounting

This is an exciting role that will provide the opportunity to manage a growing portfolio of clients and help develop business further to meet the increasing needs of the organisations clients in managing and controlling treasury risk. The role will involve management of multiple assignments in multi-locations across a wide range of sectors, and will include supporting clients in developing and defining their financial risk management framework and evaluating the effectiveness of control frameworks over treasury activities.



The role can be based in Glasgow or Edinburgh and as the role is 100% client facing, it will involve travel to support the organisations network of clients across Scotland and English regions.



To be successful in this role you will be a self-starter with strong interpersonal and communications skills, have a track record of developing key stakeholder relationships, ideally have a mix of experience in both practice and industry, and managing and developing teams. You will also have gained experience of reviewing the controls within banking institutions and energy trading, experience within a corporate treasury function, and the practical application of current accounting standards for financial instruments under UK GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS. The successful candidate will also be CA qualified or hold a similar accounting membership.
