About the Master Cloud Architect - Worldwide Portfolio Team

The Master Cloud Architect - Worldwide Portfolio Team will work directly with the Director of Worldwide Cloud Portfolio and a team of peers to take responsibility for the strategic direction and services content for HP Technology Consulting Cloud Solutions.

About the Technology Services Consulting (TSC) Worldwide Portfolio team

Our TSC Worldwide portfolio team develops compelling cloud solutions for HP’s largest enterprise customers and for our sales teams and regions based on market research, engagement experience, and field intelligence. We provide functional, pragmatic, enabling assets to sales and delivery teams to drive the growth of HP’s cloud business. We do this by evangelizing these services and assets to HP’s sales channels, to our strategic customers, and through external events such as HP Discover. We lead the development of globally consistent offerings that can be customized to meet regional customer requirements. Qualifications

Knowledge & Skills Required

We seek a candidate with experience in a wide variety of cloud projects including architecture, detailed design, implementation projects, workload analysis and migrations, and leading edge hybrid cloud solutions across a variety of cloud stacks.

Required Experience:

• 5+ years designing and deployed private and hybrid cloud solutions for enterprise applications


• 3+ years’ experience driving the analysis of both functional and cost requirements of moving applications to a cloud environment


• 10+ years as a consulting architect including datacenter consolidation, migration, and virtualization with VMware, Microsoft, and Redhat technologies


• Familiarity with HP's enterprise systems and software technologies


• Strong understanding of cloud marketplace, competitors, offerings, and trends


• Has led the planning and design for migration of those applications to cloud platforms both public and private


• Experience with orchestration tools, industry leading hypervisors, automation platforms, Cloud Management Platforms (CMPs), and service portals


• A strong understanding of service management and service deployment in private and hybrid cloud operations


• Prior experience as a Portfolio Manager ideal


• ITIL certification a plus


• Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate computer/business related fields preferred

• Openstack systems deployment and development
