Based on OpenStack technology, HP Cloud OS is the world’s premiere OpenStack based cloud technology platform for private, public, and hybrid cloud delivery. HP Cloud is one of the fastest growing divisions within HP, building and delivering a portfolio of innovative OpenStack cloud solutions.

We are looking for OpenStack Cloud Consulting Principles to engage with our customers and to advise them on the correct Cloud solution for their business. You will be a highly experienced business consultant with a deep understanding of enterprise Cloud solutions and awareness of OpenStack functionality.

Responsibilities:

As an OpenStack Cloud Consulting Principle you will engage with our enterprise customers to understand their business challenges and requirements in order to define the best OpenStack Cloud solution for them.

Additional responsibilities :

• Reporting to the Regional Director

• Travelling to, and working from, customer sites alongside the OpenStack Cloud Consulting Architect

• Working with senior customer representatives (up to, and including, C-level executives) to advise and guide on the overall solution

• Designing and leading workshops focusing on the transformation of the customer’s technology and covering the whole cloud programme

• Providing input to the sales process and producing Statements of Work

• Producing Strategy and Roadmap documentation, including Business Cases and ROI analysis

• Discovering and understanding the customer’s business requirements or business problems

• Developing the high level solution architecture in conjunction with the OpenStack Cloud Consulting Architect

• Acting as the long-term engagement manager providing the customer with a single point of contact, whilst becoming the customer’s trusted advisor

• Identifying opportunities for additional HP engagements

• Maintaining knowledge of wider cloud technologies and concepts, including but not limited to OpenStack

Qualifications

Education:

Technical university or Master’s degree preferred or a Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of relevant cloud consulting experience

Required Skills & Experience

• 2- 5 Cloud Enterprise experience.

• 2- 5 years of Cloud Consulting experience.

• 2- 5 years of hands on Cloud consulting experience towards transformation, workload migration, performance analysis.

• 2- 5 years of hands on experience with Cloud orchestration and automation.

• Experience with alternate cloud technologies, for example: Amazon & Microsoft Azure (Preferred)
