Business Environment Description:

HP Enterprise Services (HP ES) is the fastest growing organization within HP Services. ITO (IT Operation), delivery of HP ES, is one of its core organizations. As part of ITO, the EMEA ITO Project Services department has the charter to develop, implement, and deploy ITO EMEA tools, standards and solutions in link with the worldwide teams, which provide the framework. The open position is part of the EMEA ITO Project Services organization.

Job Description :

SLM & Reporting team is responsible for the end to end implementation of processes, infrastructure, tools and scripts that will allow the provision of the required SLA and operational reporting for ES Managed accounts as well as the maintenance of the existing legacy (reporting) tools.

You will work in a distributed environment with the SLM & Reporting Tools Engineering team in EMEA, as well as development team in India, and WW Engineering team in AMS.

Scope of activities:

• Review custom reporting design requirement, discuss them and translate them into technical design specifications


• Develop the custom reports based on the specification


• Do Unit Test


• Drive Move to Production when reports have been validated


• Prove the adherence to QMS process


• Provide maintenance for those custom solutions

Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:

• Engineering degree in Computer Science/Information systems or related field, 3 years or plus of IT experience.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Fluent English


• Good communication skills


• Good cross-cultural team player. Used to working in international environment


• Well-organized, self-motivated, flexible, pro-active, able to work to tight deadlines


• Report development, configurations & troubleshooting skills


• BO XI Release 4 developer expertise (WebI, Crystal Report, Dashboard)


• QlikView


• Microsoft Business Intelligence Suites


• SQL queries


• Excel sheet macros.

Plus

• ITIL foundation certification


• Knowledge of SRA Service Manager instances and how they are used


• Knowledge on infrastructure reporting data collection (OneAgent and HP Reporter)


• Experience of multi-client developments
