This Local Government organisation is accountable for one of the most prestigious business, residential, and heritage areas in Perth. The council is dedicated to providing sustainable development and regeneration to this high density territory while improving the quality of life for its citizens. The organisation's urban planning unit is responsible for supporting modernisation of the infrastructure in the area.
Due to the increase in workload the the Council's Development Assessments team, an opportunity has arisen for ambitious and switched on Town Planner to join the council. In this varied role you will be managing assessment of large volume and variety of development applications and providing advice on major planning issues.
To be considered for this position you must have a tertiary level qualifications in Town Planning coupled with some practical Development Assessments experience working for a WA Local Government organisation. Excellent customer service and communication skills as well as the ability to work independently and as a part of the team, are essential criteria for the successful candidate.
This is a 4 month contract with the possibility to extend. Applicants need to be available for as ASAP start and need full working rights in Australia.
