A household name around the world, synonymous with the power industry and now operating across multiple industries in Western Australia has an urgent requirement for a Senior Java Developer / Software Engineer.



Reporting to the Project Manager the senior Java developer / software engineer will have several key job responsibilities. You will be involved in software design and development, business analysis and solution selection as well as being an essential corridor of communication for the client and their development requirements.



Experience of presenting and negotiating with high profile clients is essential to succeed in this job. Your technical skill set will include analysis and development of large complex software systems and improving architectural solutions. Your ability to implement structured coding in accordance with standards and ensure test frameworks are utilised will be key to the projects' success.



You will be proficient in the following technologies JavaSE, Swing, Eclipse, Git and Jira as well as SQL Server.



This is a Perth based contract with an immediate start available for the right Java developer / software engineer. It will be paid on an hourly rate and could be up to 12 months long. Only Perth based candidates or candidates willing to relocate themselves for the duration of the contract should apply. Due to the high profile nature of the project/client, previous Australian coding experience is essential.
