A leading multinational bank providing a wide range of products and services to their clients including wealth management, private and investment services with operations in the United States, Canada and over 50 other countries in the world is urgently seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to manage all management reporting requirements for its Head Office and other business units.
Your primary responsibility will be to handle month-end closings and prepare monthly management reports to Head Office. Additionally, you will prepare statutory and regulatory reports, as well as coordinate with internal and external auditors on any tax reporting matters. You will also get the opportunity to participate in streamlining daily finance duties and implementing automation processes for the department.
The successful candidate will be a professionally qualified accountant with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting / finance or related. You must have at least 5 years of experience in financial accounting and / or management reporting acquired from Brokerage or Banking institutions. You must possess strong understanding of general accounting principles and operational processes. You must have strong command of written and spoken English and Cantonese, as well as good ERP systems skills (e.g. PeopleSoft, General Ledger System, etc).
