Description

The TCEQ (Total Quality and Customer Experience) group manages a quality process to discover product quality issues, the data we use for this purpose involves thousands of walls of text that need to be parsed and categorized to find issues. We then present that information to product experts so they can improve HP products.

Responsibilities

You will be involved with development and maintenance of data/text mining system

Use Text Mining Program PolyAnalyst to discover product quality issues

Understand and learn Autonomy for data analysis

Develop product taxonomy to use for data mining and analysis

Develop visualization of data

Work within the Quality Case Analysis process to help advance the discovery of field issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with at least 2 years of courses completed towards the degree plan.

Qualifications

· Excel with PowerPivot

· Pivot tables

· Regular Expressions

· Understanding of process flow

· Programming skills are very helpful (Python or C++ or C# or any other programming language)

· SQL

· Interfacing with internal customers

· Willingness to learn new technologies is a must

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at management levels.

· Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams utilizing people skills

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills and ability to think creatively to solve complex problems

· Ability to design, develop and improve software tools, processes and components to reduce overhead and improve quality of partner deliverables

· Strong desire to learn and succeed
