A major government department has an opportunity for an APS4 with strong administration skills and experience in ministerials. The vacancy is for a period of 3 months (with the possibility of an extension) commencing ASAP.

The successful applicant will require demonstrated skills and abilities in relation to well developed technical ability within ministerials, an understanding of ministerial and parliamentary processes and a demonstrated commitment to enhancing the work of the team as well as well developed output management skills.

The position is part of a small team responsible for the day-to-day administration including though not limited to allocating ministerials within the group, assistance to group staff involved in the preparation of responses to ministerial correspondence, quality assurance of draft replies, generating reports from the online ministerial system and other communications tasks as required.
