My client is a global commodity firm and their claims department is looking for a claims specialist to come board the team as an Assistant Manager.This is a international platform with excellent opportunities to gain increased claims exposure.

This role will require you to act as an overall support within the insurance Department and as a support to the Group Insurance Manager.You will be responsible for managing insured and uninsured losses.On a daily basis,you will manage claims relating to theft,outturn losses,contamination claims and storage location losses.You will liaise on seeking recovery of losses and undertake analysis of claims to identify risk management initiatives and handle policy renewals.In addition, you will also provide technical advice on marine open cover,general insurance queries.

To be considered,you should have about 5-10 years of strong claims experience.Ideally,you have relevant insurance industry experience.However individuals from other relevant industries such as hotels,shipping and tourism may be considered.Most importantly,you are keen to progress and learn in this new role,and have good excel skills.
