• Resolves tickets in group queue including incidents and service requests (How to, user accounts, access controls, tape backup and restore, general end-user support)
• Provide technical escalation to incidents and service requests via ticketing system, when deemed required based on analysis and assessment of the situation.
• Present technical findings from incidents to customer and management, including future recommendations.
• May serve as subject matter expert for projects, new business opportunities.
• Provide technical feedback and recommendations to management team on improving operational efficiencies (decrease down time, incidents, improve processes/procedures).
• May serve as technical project lead for projects.
• Ensures standards are executed within the environment.
• Mentoring of junior staff both within team and cross functionally.
• Provide technical documentation and present/transfer information for advance technologies.
• Perform server builds, OS and hardware troubleshooting and repairs.
• Position requires additional/flexible hours to accommodate maintenance windows and participation in on-call rotation.
