Mechanical Estimator



Due to an increasing number of ongoing maintenance and improvement projects on the horizon, a global provider of operations, maintenance and construction services to the resources, energy, industrial, infrastructure, property and defense sectors is looking for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join the newly created projects team.



This is a key role, working closely with Operations, Planning Manager, Engineers and consultants. You will prepare early stage study estimates and have a strong understanding of the scope of projects you will review and evaluate estimates provided by internal departments and third party contractors.



It is expected that you will come from a trade background and be able to use your established connections to ensure that you provide quality estimates. The ability to read projects and fully understand the scope is essential. Your proven track record of estimating in mechanical Oil and gas projects, as well as experience in pipeline and fixed plant projects are a must. Experience in the preparation of RFQ from vendors in Oil and Gas Brownfield and greenfield projects is also required.
