Senior Pre Sales Consultant - IP Networks

Prestigious opportunity with a pioneering ISP and Unified Communications Solutions provider for a Senior Pre Sales Consultant with IP Networking expertise! As a Senior Pre Sales Consultant in IP Networking you will be dedicated to high profile strategic clients UK wide.



Our Senior Consultants are responsible for:-



* Line management of a consultation team

* Mentoring and coaching of direct reports and non-direct reports

* Implementation of and collaboration on best practice for training

* Customer designs

* Customer consultation and pre sales

* Provide and create written responses to tender / bid documents

* Business improvement

* Productisation of bespoke activity so the field engineering team can take on more work

* Technical design authority for customer designs

* Identification and introduction of new product / capabilities to be offered.

* Creation of business plans to support training and investment in new capabilities

* Providing 3rd line support for serious incidents



Successful Senior Pre-Sales Consultants will possess a combination of the following skills:-



- Established track record in Technical Presales Support and Technical Architecture working in a competitive environment and winning major bids

- Knowledge of and practical experience in Cisco software and hardware to CCNP or equivalent working experience

- Process design skills

- Working knowledge of IT and networking security

- Working knowledge and ideally certification in other vendors offerings such as Juniper / HP / Dell / Extreme/ Aruba Networking



The following skills are advantageous but not essential:-

- Working knowledge of enterprise storage solution such as NetApp and EMC VNX

- Working knowledge of UNIX / Linux / Windows Operating Systems administration
