Senior PMO consultant

Manchester, United Kingdom, GB - Financial Services

My client is looking for an experienced PMO to deliver high quality, robust PMO activities to support large assigned Project or Programme in the effective delivery of my clients portfolio. This will include the provision of a governance capability and relevant MI/Steering packs as well as management of key stakeholders.



The role will also include RAID management and support to finance and planning activities as well as other project support activities as and when required.



All documents to be produced in line with my client standard templates, timescales and governance



SOME KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES



* Lead the effective delivery of Project / Programme deliverables to defined standards (e.g. project plans, finance plans, RAIDs, project artefacts etc.) In general this will be for portfolios, programmes and large/complex projects



* Inform and educate project teams in the effective use of the policies, tools and processes and ensure they are effectively used



* May take PMO Assurance lead responsibility for a small area of the business



* Analyse project data to provide leaders with appropriate information to actively lead their projects/programmes



* Support the definition, implementation and continual improvement of project governance processes



* Ensure timely provision of relevant management information to governance forums



* Support the inward relationships with IT Projects to ensure quality information is produced at acceptable levels



* Lead or support the production of effective MI to highlight IT project delivery to agreed standards.



My client requires an individual who has operated in large complex environments, excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong MS Project and Excel skills.
