COMPANY INFORMATION



Our client is the premier exploration and production company in the Sultanate accounting for almost 90% of crude oil production and all of its natural-gas supply and has been in this business for almost 50 years.



JOB PURPOSE



Translate the limited information from the Concept Selection Report and/or Basis for Design (Select Phase) into a full process design and project specifications.

Carry out the Process Engineering FEED activities (Define stage) for a specific project in order to generate the Process Engineering FEED deliverables on time according to DCAF requirements.



JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE



• Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering.

• Minimum 6 years experience in upstream oil & gas Process Engineering

• Minimum 3 years in Front End Engineering Design (FEED).

• Good communicator and strong team player.

• Fluent in English; Written and Spoken.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES



• Contribute to Basis for Design (BfD), Basis of Design (BoD), and Project Specifications/Philosophies.

• Generate Process Simulation Models and prepare Heat & Material Balance Tables.

• Develop Process/Utility Flow Schemes.

• Develop Process/Utility Engineering Flow Schemes and Process Safeguarding Flow Schemes.

• Carry out Sizing for Process Equipment and Relief Valves.

• Carry out Line Hydraulics and provide Inputs to Line Listing.

• Follow Quality Management System (QMS) requirements in line with ISO 9001-2008.
