Junior Technical Product Manager, Hyperscale Servers and Solutions

The hyperscale and density-optimized server infrastructure markets are the fastest growing server segment in the industry, and HP is striving to extend its presence and leadership in this space. We are seeking a product marketing manager to focus on defining, developing, launching, and marketing hyperscale server products and solutions, to join the team and grow our footprint in the space of Hyperscale Market.

The Product Manager – Hyperscale Servers and Solutions would reside on the HP Server Density-Optimized team, focused on the high growth hyperscale server space.

This individual will be laser-focused on developing server technology based on customer needs, industry technical trends, and futures in the spaces of #Hyperscale, and taking to market cutting edge server products to address customer needs. They would be responsible for technical engagement with HP counterparts such as engineering, marketing, sales, channel, and more on product management activities, such as technical solution definition, roadmap development, requirements development, financial modeling, sales enablement, futures, solution positioning, and partner engagement.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Required:

• College degree in Marketing/Business/ Technical


• MBA preferred

Knowledge and Skills Required:

• Ability in defining, launching, managing and driving results in server infrastructure, specifically in hyperscale / density optimized servers


• Product management experience with server solutions a plus


• Experience with technologies such as Intel Processor Roadmap, High Performance Computing (HPC), Low Latency Server Interconnect a plus


• Strong organizational skills


• Able to work on problems/projects of diverse complexity and scope.


• Exercises significant independent judgment to achieve objectives.


• High energy drive to exceed assigned product goals.


• Strong presentation and influencing skills.


• Ability to operate and make decisions in complex environment.


• Self-motivated, competitive and goal oriented.
