I am currently recruiting for a permanent full time job based in Huntingdon, for a client seeking a candidate with the ability to use their initiative and have experience in the customer service arena and be used to dealing with clients on a daily basis to ensure that the highest level of customer service is achieved.



Job Title: Helpdesk Supervisor / Customer Service Supervisor- Permanent Full time position

Location: Huntingdon

Remuneration: Dependent upon experience (although salary guide is: £18,000 - £25,000 per annum)



The client's Helpdesk manages calls and e mails from landlord and occupier clients, their customers (occupiers of offices, shops and the general public such as neighbours of our client's properties), suppliers and other third parties on a wide variety of issues including but not limited to;

· Maintenance and repairs

· Queries on invoices, purchase orders

· Queries about a lease contracts, approvals needed

· Emergencies such as water leaks

· Change orders on new data to be entered into a property data management system

The helpdesk currently consists of two office based employees (which will include the supervisor going forward) fielding calls and e mails and a third field based employee who will be dedicated to follow up and customer fulfilment.



Normal hours of operation are 8.a.m. until 6 p.m and you would be able to choose your hours from this schedule - so would be able to work 8-4pm, 9-5pm etc and the company can offer flexibility within this. There is also the possibility to earn overtime through taking an out of hours mobile which would involve receiving emergency calls from clients and organising a contractor to attend. This would not be compulsory but would offer additional salary benefits.



The helpdesk typically handles X number of calls and e mails per week. Work load is variable, dependent on several factors, such as weather and unforeseen emergencies.

The helpdesk supervisor will be responsible for over seeing the efficient handling of all calls and e mails and supervising another helpdesk operator/ assistant and the field based Helpdesk surveying technician dedicated to customer fulfilment.

They will be responsible for the day to day management and operation of the helpdesk function and report into the senior surveyor responsible for all CRE back office and customer support functions.



Responsibilities include:

· Ensuring all calls and e mails are logged and responded to within agreed timeframes/KPI's

· Producing monthly reports by client on all helpdesk activity

· Liaising with CRE, occupier and landlord teams and Treasury Services to ensure that calls are directed to appropriate person, responded to and closed in timely fashion

· Ensuring customer satisfaction by ensuring follow up to calls, regular reporting and liaison with client and teams involved

· Management of client complaints log and follow up as appropriate
