Business Strategy and Planning Manager

- Be an advisor to the Executives on strategy and turn-around projects
- Leads the Category Budget Planning and 1yr initiative definition process (Spar, Interlock, Budget and GTM-allocation for PC APJ across all countries and go-to-market).
- Defines & deploys Category Balanced Score Card in collaboration with the regional COO office
- Drives the Staff Planning, Action item tracking & review process; creates the cadence that accelerates execution and decision making within the organization
- Own all internal presentation and relevant analysis for the VP
- Own the engagement with the PPS APJ Business Planner and ensure alignment on strategy, deliverables and timelines expectation
- Lead communications process to support content development for GTMU executive business reviews, account/channel presentations, internal presentations and quarterly org communication sessions.
- Be the ‘eyes-and-ears’ in the organization
- Collaborates effectively with all stakeholders and respects deadlines and quality of deliverables
- Data based facilitation and decision making
- Maintains understanding of business & go-to-market domains to fully understand business context of the Category Operations team
- Including partnering, consulting and presentation skills at the Executive level
- Strategic thinking - out of the box thinker and ability to work in a fast paced work environment
- Adopts open & transparent leadership style; knows how to lead, motivate & develop diverse team.
- Capable of fast decision making, possesses good judgment, takes appropriate risks; has the ability to read trends and make sound decisions with incomplete information
Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years experience in Strategy and Planning
- Strong Finance and Planning background
- Strong GTM project background
- Affinity to deeply understand category and technology trends
- Straight forward thinking and communication
- Good team worker
- P&L Management skills and/or GTM skills are a nice to have
