I am currently working with a Public Sector Organisation based in the Greater Manchester area to recruit a Category Manager and Senior Buyer for their procurement team.



The successful applicants will have a wide mix of skills and experience enabling them to manage a broad and varied portfolio, giving opportunity for stretch, new experiences and breadth of capability. They must be commercially minded and have experience of EU tendering process. Previous experience working in the NHS would be beneficial, however not essential if you have worked in a similar role in another Public Sector organisation.



My client will be looking for the successful candidate to be confident in their abilities and be able to challenge stakeholders constructively whilst guiding them through the procurement process. This is a fantastic opportunity for applicants with relevant procurement experience. These roles have come about due to a number of recent structure changes within the organisation, the Category Manager role will be for 12 months, the Senior Buyer role temporary position for 3 Months with a possible extension to 6.
