Our client is a global multi disciplined consultancy who is very highly regarded in the market place. They have delivered cutting edge projects across various sectors and offer a full range of engineering consultancy services to their extensive client base. Following a number of substantial project wins they are currently seeking a Revit team leader to join the team on a permanent basis.





This position will be a key regional role, based across in Melbourne but will involve liaising with Sydney and Brisbane offices. The successful candidate will report directly into the Regional MEP Business Director, and will be responsible for successfully managing, planning resourcing and completing assigned Revit drafting projects within agreed budgets and deadlines for the MEP Team. Other key duties will include:





* Developing and maintaining modelling standards with the current modelling team.

* Will lead the Revit drafting team by providing technical support on complex issues and ensuring drafting standards are meet.

* Manage information exchange and interfaces of models/drawings with other disciplines and stakeholders.

* The role will also involve arranging Modelling and Drawing Documentation Training activities. As wells as representing the client at industry functions, client workshops and marketing our capability through business development activities.





The requirements for this position include:



* 8-10 years experience in project delivery utilising Revit and delivering Revit design projects.

* Previous experience working for an engineering consultancy

* Relevant engineering degree

* The ability to develop elements of design from concept sketched to detailed models/drawings

* Well-developed leadership skills, with a sound knowledge of the industry

* Excellent communication and relationship building skills, both internally and externally

* Experience with managing and resolving interfaces with other technical disciplines

* Experience with overseas design centres an advantage.

* This role would suit someone with an innovative and entrepreneurial manner with previous experience leading a team.
