This leading national company specialise in project managing high complex building construction and infrastructure projects. Their national Structural Engineering teams work on a wide variety of projects that include; infrastructure design and project management, new build and refurbishment commercial and industrial buildings as well as government fit outs and residential developments.



They currently have opportunities for Intermediate to Senior level Structural Engineers to join their Christchurch team. You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of projects across the Christchurch region, the technical duties will include; completing construction documentation, engineering calculations, structural detailing and reviewing drawings, project coordination and construction surveillance including RFI responses and site observation and project management. You will get exposure to new build design, refurbishment and strengthening work on a wide range of building projects.



You will be joining an experience team who are experts in earthquake / seismic engineering projects, this will guarantee you the ongoing mentoring and technical support and varied project work required to obtain CPEng status. You will report to the engineering team leader for a weekly project review and you will then be given the level of autonomy to run your own projects based on your level of experience. This role will see you manage client relationships and be personally developed technically to grow and develop your engineering skills on a wide range of complex structures.



To be successful you will have structural engineering project experience, BE Civil Engineering, MS or PhD qualification and be looking for a technically challenging and rewarding career. You will have some experience working in an Engineering Consultancy in New Zealand, local design codes or international seismic design exposure is essential.
