A well established, national IT company have a close knit finance team and are seeking an Accounts Assistant ready to grow and develop in their accounting career.
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will initially take responsibility for the Accounts Payable function in which you will have direct contact with the suppliers and take ownership for the vendor accounts. In time you will also take on other duties including bank reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, assisting with Payroll and other ad hoc duties as required.
To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate a strong attention to detail, intermediate Excel skills and a desire to develop your accounting career. You should have at least 1-3 years accounting experience, degree or diploma qualified (or studying) and clear communication skills.
