Logistics Systems Support Lead

The Supply Chain Visibility Team of the APAC Logistics Department has an opening for a Logistics Systems Support Lead who will manage decision support data systems in support of supply chain visibility. The individual in this role should also possess project management skills to work with teams across regions and business functions, acting in ownership of the platform that he/she is supporting, to enable new capabilities for the entire business.

- Proficiency with decision support systems and data processing, MS Word, MS Excel, and basic project planning methodology
- Proficiency with SAP usage
- International travel as required
Description
1. Business SME and super-user with regards to EDI platform for shipment visibility and service levels commitments
Knowledge owner behind the workings of EDI between our 3PL partners, tracking service vendor and Apple for the visibility of shipments.
Knowledge owner of 3PL service level setup within ERP
Support the business for new partner on-boarding to ensure shipment visibility at partner go-live
Monitor and drive 3PL EDI data performance
Interface with tracking service partner to monitor and control partner performance
Work with WW governance team to drive, scope and prioritize improvements for the tracking service partner
Participate in projects as visibility EDI SME to enable the project’s visibility requirements
2. Business SME and super-user on Logistics Data Warehouse
Knowledge owner behind the workings and usage of Logistics Data Warehouse
Support the business to enable new reports and report enhancements.
Work with WW governance team to drive, scope and prioritize requests for new reports and enhancements.
Act as the stakeholder for Logistics decision support requirements and drive towards the enabling of these requirements
Prioritize report requirements with the Logistics business users
3. Project Management work on Shipment Visibility Systems
Participate in projects as regional logistics decision support stakeholder
Collect requirements from logistics operations and submit in clear and concise documentation to the project team
Validate design concepts to ensure they fulfill and conform to requirements
Perform testing to validate system conformance to requirements
Establish business processes to support system usage by business users
Engage with and drive external vendors as required for the project
Communicate to management and stakeholders to provide clarity in the project scope, timelines, risks and benefits across the project life cycle on a regular basis
Education
Accomplished 5 years experience in shipment visibility systems and data analysis
Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or Computer Engineering
Minimum 3 years experience of working as a business user with decision support systems/tools such as Enterprise Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, Business Objects, SQL etc.
Experience of supply chains within the Asia Pacific region, preferably with consumer technology sector or FMCG
Additional Requirements
Accomplished 5 years experience in shipment visibility systems and data analysis
Minimum 3 years experience of working as a business user with decision support systems/tools such as Enterprise Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, Business Objects, SQL etc.
