Role Overview:

Our client is a leading supplier of drilling equipment for Offshore & Onshore Oil & Gas production facilities & are currently recruiting a Head of Sales to oversee direct sales team + agents generating revenue of circa US$200m p/a. With services covering manufacture, installation, repair & rental they have a global footprint but with facilities in Singapore & Indonesia they have a strong customer base & market penetration in SE Asia. The successful candidate with ideally come from a technical background with good knowledge of Wellhead / Xmas Tree / Valves & Actuator products & will be able to demonstrate successful track record in end-to-end business development, sales and marketing initiatives within the Upstream Oil & Gas sector. Reporting direct to the Board & leading a team of Regional and Country Sales Managers this senior appointment would be responsible for setting sales strategy & ensuring sales target met across APAC / MENA / CERoW regions.



Key Deliverables:

Ownership of business development and sales responsibility globally, including working closely with the CEO and the management team to develop and fine-tune the sales strategy and priorities in line with the overall strategy of the company, developing and agreeing on targets, forecasts and commitments early on and developing sustainable initiatives to meet these commitments.



Part of your role will be internal stakeholder management working closely with the Regional and Country Sales Managers team to identify commercial opportunities within the various markets that the company operates in & ensure that the company is included / invited to bid for these opportunities. As part of this function you'd also be required to decide on bid/no bid for marginal opportunities that may not necessarily be part of the group's overall strategy



You'd also be required to work closely with all functional areas of the business e.g. Commercial, Manufacturing, Quality etc. so any issues are identified early, support obtained and resolutions reached on a timely basis.



As well as management of direct sales team you'd also be expected to establish and develop sustainable relationships and alliances with key customers and other external stakeholders in furthering the company's market share.
