Hays are working closely with a highly reputable centre management group where an exciting opportunity has arisen for the services of an operations supervisor to assist the operations manager perform a range of tasks in helping maintain the centre to a high standard.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be directly involved in managing the day to day maintenance activities, participate in operational contract reviews and monthly meetings to achieve industry best practice in building management. You will actively participate in the strategy and planning, budgeting and financial management, contract management, risk and compliance, team development and facilities operations and maintenance.
To be considered for this role you will be, client focused with a proven track record of being able to implement policies and procedures, communicate effectively and encourage the development of others within a team environment to achieve the centres desired outcomes.
It is essential that you have proven strategic and operational experience in a fast paced environment within a medium/large organisation, have a broad technical knowledge of WHS and an in depth knowledge of the Building Code of Australia. It will be advantageous if you are a trade qualified within a building related discipline.
