Become part of a high performing Global Enterprise Group (EG) Pricing team at HP, and act as a strategic partner in supporting the EG Leadership Team
by developing price analytics concepts to optimize sales revenues and profits.
Job Description
The selected candidate would be joining the Global EG Pricing Team as a Pricing Analyst. He/she would play a key role in understanding
the broad spectrum of pricing activities across the various HP EG Businesses, identify areas of analytical engagement and support the
deployment of pricing initiatives in the Americas Region. The selected candidate should be responsible for overall executing and mentoring
of various Pricing analysis projects within the team along with his/her individual deliveries. He/she is expected to conceptualize the analytical
methodology for business problems, provide strategic and operational data-based insights to business management group on a regular basis
and achieve business impact. The selected candidate is also expected to manage communication rhythm with key stakeholders on regular basis.
Responsibilities
- Understand HP’s various Pricing strategies through interviews and discussions with the region product category and finance managers
- Identify analytical solutions (including explore existing solutions) that meet business needs
- Develop and implement pricing models for multiple business lines and market segments to drive competitive advantage while maximizing profit
- Analyze and understand customer buying behaviors; strategize and coach sales on the outcomes
- Closely collaborate with the EMEA Regional Business Units, EMEA EG Finance and HP Operations Team to drive the implementation of
the pricing analytics tools - Develop strategic approach to pricing analytics and help implementing it in the day-to-day business operations
- Work closely with the EMEA EG Leadership Team and EMEA Sales Management to drive the definition and implementation of the different
pricing models according to the company’s business strategy - Proactively gather market & competitive pricing intelligence
- Continuously analyze the price trends in the market, recommending the course of action to take accordingly
- Support ad-hoc complex business opportunities requiring a tailored pricing approach
Qualifications
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree; MBA Preferred
- 10+ years of experience in Finance, Pricing or Business Analytics in the global hi-tech industry,
in a multi-product environment - Experience in a matrix reporting environment
- Solid reputation and credibility with business
- Ability to manage a fast moving, market oriented and dynamic work environment
- HW business experience may be an advantage
