· Provides standard to moderately complex financial support that is either transactional or analytical for a financial function or a business.

Accounting Analyst
As an Accounting Analyst you will be following up on workflow messages, communicating with local organizations, solving problems, and carrying out month end close activities such as accrual booking and reconciliation. This will include providing managers and their businesses with vital financial services including audit and consultancy on processes, programs and projects, ensuring that everything is in line with hp financial policies and procedures. Your level of involvement will vary from preparing and presenting reports to delivering technical leadership for the design and implementation of major business programs with a significant impact on the company.
An Accounting Analyst provides the focal point for a wide spectrum of customer accounting transaction processing questions and assistance to a broad customer base for HP WW.
Responsibilities may include depending upon job level:
• Identify over payments and under-recovery of credits due to HP
• Facilitates solutions to transaction processing problems
• Administers the collection, maintenance, reporting, and presentation of account information
• Develop solutions to various accounting problems.
• Booking invoices according to company procedures
• Verifying accuracy of invoices
• Contacting internal and external partners
• Preparing reports in Excel
Qualifications :
Education and Experience Required:
· First level university degree with a focus in business or economics recommended or equivalent experience.
· Typically 2+ years of experience as a financial analyst.
· May have experience in more than one finance function.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
· Basic understanding of accounting processes and principles.
· Good analytical skills.
· Good business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
· Good communication skills.
· Good teamwork skills.
