My client is an established Government department, located in the heart of Brisbane CBD. They are committed to delivering high level social and economic development to Queenslanders across the board.



Currently rolling out a new project, a position has arisen for a Communications officer to join their team, initially on a three month contract. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to the achievement of the departments organisational objectives by providing high level communication support. You will complete tasks such as implementing communications plans, writing, editing and publishing a range of communication, providing advice to internal stakeholders alongside liaising with external stakeholder. You will also be responsible for reviewing and developing new systems, assisting in promotional launches and completing other generalist communication tasks as required.



To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience within communication, either in the private or public sector. You will have a high level of skill in delivering communication services, including traditional and digital mediums. You will have strong time management skills, with your attention to detail being an extremely high level and previous experience in managing stakeholder relations, both on an internal and external level.
