ALM / Treasury Product Control (AVP/jnr VP)

A new Product Control position is available in the ALM / Treasury desk of this stable leading Bank. They are seeking an experienced and driven product control professional at AVP/junior VP level. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure within this Global Bank via a 6 to 12 months contract to start with but with a possibility of becoming permanent.



You will be part of a team of Product Controllers ensuring the daily preparation and analysis of the Profit and Loss generated by the Business. Intrinsic to this role will be interaction with individual traders and the business heads for the Product Control Group and as such, highly developed interpersonal skills are mandatory. This role will be line P&L but quite technical too and thus will require a strong analytical mindset for the more complex PnL.



The ideal candidate will have 5/6 years minimum of relevant Product Control experience. Good knowledge of Treasury / ALM products combined with strong accounting skills would be advantageous but not necessary. A Bachelors Degree - Finance or Accounting is preferred and you should possess strong interpersonal & communication skills along the ability to perform in a high pressure environment.
