A senior management position has become available for a national not for profit organisation, based in the Newcastle area. The role is for a Regional Children's Services Manager to oversee the operation of 8 Out of School Hours services in the Newcastle region.
This full time opportunity is to oversee the operation of 8 OSHC services for the Newcastle region, to ensure that each service is meeting the national regulations and requirements for education and care. You will support coordinators with the financial overview of their service, HR, compliance and general operation. Using your previous experience in childcare and management you will be able to identify key areas for improvement and provide coordinators with training and mentoring where required. You will also be responsible for managing any grievances or issues with families, staff or external partners and therefore must have excellent conflict resolution strategies and clear leadership qualities.
To apply for this role you must have your own transport, previous experience in managing and operating multi site education services and excellent communication and multi-tasking skills. It is also essential that you hold a university degree in early years education.
