Nuclear Safety Case Specialist

An exciting opportunity exists for a Safety Case Specialist to join an expanding Safety, Environmental and Risk Management Consultancy. With clients in the defence, nuclear, transport and chemical industry, the Company has offices UK wide.



The Company has developed an excellent reputation of being one of the leaders in its sector delivering cost effective solutions by liaising closely with clients, to fully understand their requirements. Services range from full project management as part of an integrated project team through to detailed assessment and consultancy advice.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Specialist you will be responsible for the following:

• Producing safety reports and associated assessments at our offices, and at the offices of clients;


• The successful delivery of proposals and projects;


• Supporting business development to assist in the growth of the company.

Experience:



The preferred candidate will ideally have experience of supporting the production of safety cases in accordance with the requirements of client's safety case methodologies and processes such as HAZOP, HAZAN, PSA, ALARP, Reliability Assessments.



Qualifications and Education Requirements:



Candidates must possess a degree (or equivalent qualification) in mathematics, engineering or a science based subject.



Candidates must also possess associate or full membership of a relevant professional institution, and a demonstrable commitment to continued professional development.
