We are currently seeking a Business Planning Manager who will develop recommendation from complex data and business analyses, and formulates them into business plans. This role will drive the construction of highly innovative statistical and financial models to analyze new aspects of business performance. Additionally he/she establishes the metrics required to measure business performance and recommends the go-forward strategy to address performance gaps. The successful individual will lead highly complex, time-sensitive market research projects and identifies compelling trends and opportunities for business leaders. Working in a matrix environment, this role will manage cross-functional teams across the entire span of business planning activities. Other responsibilities include:



  • Drives all aspects of priority projects and makes final team decisions.

  • Develop business plans and proactively identify new opportunities as partners with client business leaders.

  • Develops and drives comprehensive business plan recommendations, based on analysis, emerging trends, and experience.

  • Identifies or develops cutting-edge analytical tools, models, and methods for making key business decisions.

  • Counsels business leaders, recommends approaches for executing high-level strategies and develops creative solutions

  • Leads efforts to develop innovative business models and analyses to support multiple, large projects.

  • Manages proactive business planning activities and priority projects.

  • Decision-making implications extend to multiple functions and/or businesses, and impact the business directly.


Enable Profitable Growth



  • Define and drive actions to enable the sub-region to achieve its business objectives.

  • Manage Flash Cycles partnering with Finance and Country GMs – Drive Risks & Opportunities Cadence

  • Enable Sub-Region to achieve or exceed budget (REV and OOP) by driving closure of P&L actions.

  • Define and drive growth programs initiatives which will drive incremental growth (REV and OOP)


Drive Operational Excellence



  • Define the ES Accelerate Program for APJ working closely with Program Team

  • Program Manage Execution of ES Accelerate Program initiatives such as LEAN, S2S, TA, AOC, AI, PR, MOC etc.,

  • Chief of Staff (Staff Governance) / Run GTM Leader’s Staff Meetings, Identify and drive action items;

  • Develop & Drive rolling 3 month plan for sub-region/country to meet its commitments to Asia.

  • Act as a delegate for the Sub-Region GM for SOAR and business topics and be able to take informed business decisions.

  • Program Manage sub-region goal-setting process, ongoing performance monitoring & tracking; run-monthly country reviews

  • Program Manage Account Quality & Business Planning; AFPs, ABPs ; AE Talent & Culture Program

  • Program Manage Requisition Review Board (RRB)/ Ensure LDSM is deployed for focused Accounts

  • Program Manage Fortnightly sub-regional sales review to drive sales objectives.

  • Program Manage Voice of Customer Survey roll-out and drive improvement plan.

  • Work with HR on the right GTM organization

  • Any other operational topics which will come-up time to time.


Grow our People



  • Program Manage Voice of Work Force Survey action plan for the sub-region working closely with HR.

  • Facilitate Effective Talent Management for the sub-region partnering with HR.

  • Drive people care initiatives to improve employee engagement, identify and retain talent.




Qualifications

Education and Experience Required



  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related functional area.

  • Advanced university degree required (e.g. MBA) or demonstrable equivalent experience.

  • Experience working in multinational companies, ideally technology or telco services industry


Knowledge and Skills Required



  • Extensive knowledge of research methodology for the most challenging business issues.

  • Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.

  • Ability to leverage new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches and insights.

  • Extensive knowledge of how to analyze business problems using Excel, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modeling.

  • Superior business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and influence skills.

  • Excellent project management skills, including leading large, cross-functional initiatives that impact the organization.

  • Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.

  • Strong leadership skills, including team-building, conflict resolution, and management.

  • Ability to lead multiple, large, time sensitive projects or work streams.

  • Ability to identify emerging trends from market and industry data, and make clear and compelling business planning recommendations.
