One of the UK’s most prestigious financial services firms, with a blue ribbon history stretching back several centuries, are looking for a highly qualified paraplanner to join their Financial Planning/Wealth Management arm in Manchester.



The role:



· Provide appropriate support for Financial Planning Managers

· Facilitate the smooth processing of new and existing business

· Liaise with the administration team

· Assist with monitoring the performance and work throughput of the administration team thereby ensuring standards are maintained and deadlines are met

· Assist with the monitoring of compliance standards across the FP Department

· Assist with reconciliation of commissions and fees for the FP Department



The Ideal Candidate:



· 2:1 Honours degree preferred

· CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning

· A minimum of 3 years experience in financial planning is essential

· In-depth understanding of financial markets/risk management techniques/regulatory requirements

· Proven business and team-building ability

· Self motivated, ambitious, decisive

· Team player with first-rate people skills

· Strong communication skills

· Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload

· Strong analytical skills and excellent numeracy abilities

· Commercial Awareness
