SENIOR IT NETWORK SPECIALIST

Barcelona Area, Spain, ES - Internet, Computer Networking, Information Technology and Services

We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate IT Network Specialist to work for a final client, the nº 1 online travel agency in Europe.

The candidate will join the client's architecture team in the engineering department and will be reporting directly to the Head of Corporate IT.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES:

• Main point of contact and responsible for Corporate IT Network issues: coordinate MPLS network changes, open & follow-up changes/Incidents with network suppliers.


• Manage process & security certifications like PCI-DSS or Data protection.


• Responsible for support & development of all in-house IT systems (including desktop, server, VOIP infrastructure, conferencing facilities & in-house network systems).


• Operate, Develop & Evolve Main Physical & Virtual Server Infrastructure.


• Act as main technical contact on the project for the implementation of new ACD cloud based system & define the new call management flow in the call-centers.


• Working with Head of Corporate IT Infrastructure & other engineers around Europe to implement and support latest technology advances in the infrastructure.


• Listen to business needs and proactively work on projects, either as a lead or in support of the Head of Corporate IT Infrastructure, to meet those requirements.


• Occasional travel to various European locations for projects, along with a requirement for some out of hours work.
