VP, Operations Project Manager - Global Custody, IB

Our client, a top tier investment bank has an opportunity for a VP Operations Project Manager to join their Change Group as a Project Manager to manage the migration project of transitioning their Global Custody business within the global Market infrastructure.



As Project Manager , you will have a proven track record of managing and driving forward work-streams for operations from an investment banking or global custody business as well as leading teams project resources and subject matter experts.

Project Managing this large transition from a stand alone business into the operational infrastructure, you will support the program lead in developing and executing project plans across the full lifecycle.



Your formal business analysis skills will be utilised to define and document business requirements to enable seamless processing of custody transactions within the target infrastructure. In addition, you will be experienced in defining and executing test plans to ensure the solutions developed meet acceptable standards of quality as well as supporting users in implementing the new functionality and procedures, in order to ensure delivery of target business benefits.



Formal project management methodology and business analysis experience is essential as is a thorough knowledge of middle office and back office processing ideally from a Custody background. In addition, your technical understanding of Equities and Fixed Income processing from a project perspective is also required.

Candidates will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders, manage project resource and across the business.



Formal project management qualifications and a 2.1 degree within a financial or mathematics degree is essential.
