Our client is a growing logistics provider with a track record of providing innovative and cost effective solutions that cover the whole Supply Chain. Due to this continued growth they are now looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team.



Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing you will identify and cultivate new business opportunities across a wide range of sectors. Working closely with and influencing internal teams you will take the lead with all elements of the sales process from business planning, solution modelling and tendering activities.



The ideal candidate will be an innovative, commercially astute business development professional with an understanding of warehousing and logistics who is capable of driving forward new business streams. Business development experience within a 3PL environment is essential along with strong influencing and interpersonal skills. You will be the kind of individual who feels comfortable approaching and establishing a rapport with new and varied personalities; creating and maintaining a network of contacts to ensure a constant flow of leads. Moreover, your knowledge and understanding of warehousing and logistics will enable you to understand clients' individual challenges and develop leading edge, tailored solutions to meet their needs.
