Well established main contractor with a family approach and good reputation have an opportunity for a Foreman to join their well established team.

This is an opportunity not to be missed, with a wide variety of Commercial, Education, Health and Mixed Use developments due to start, experienced and high calibre Construction Professionals are needed in Christchurch.



As Foreperson you will have had an apprenticeship and or formal training background in carpentry. You will have worked on a variety of construction projects, using a range of construction methods including steel and concrete frame. You will have a strong team ethic and be able to work closely with the Site Manager as well as taking responsibility for the everyday duties within the role of the Foreperson. With a proven track record and a minimum of 5 years experience post completion of your trade and or formal training as a Foreperson for a main contractor, you will also need to have worked on projects over $5 million in value reporting to the Site Manager and being part of the overall site team.



You will be able to demonstrate excellent technical skills and have genuine experience working on a variety of construction processes, You will be able to present practical solutions and ideas to technical challenges and have outside the box thinking to everyday situations and a can do approach to work.You will have hands on approach and be able to lead a team of trades to deliver good work to a high standard in the agreed timeframe.
