A fast growing multi-disciplinary consultancy specialising in new-build projects is currently on the look out for an experienced Sustainability Engineer to join their growing team. This organisation is well established within the UK with a particular focus on Health and Education sectors. To fit in well with this team you will need to be driven, innovative and resourceful.
The Job role:
the successful candidate will have a good understanding of thermal modelling to conform with the Building Regulations Part L and will have a good understanding of Mechanical Building Services Design. You will ideally have a minimum of 2 years within a similar role and will be confident enough in your field to work closely with clients and colleagues to offer your expert opinion to work together in finding engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Part L2 Analysis
Energy Efficiency Design and thermal modelling on new and existing buildings
Energy/ carbon assessments
Advanced simulation and modelling using IES, Including Energy, Daylight modelling and Natural Ventilation studies.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
Educated to a minimum of Degree level in a related discipline
Eligible and experience of working within the UK.
