For our company established in İstanbul, Turkey we are looking for a full time legal counsel experienced in commercial and contracts law with strong English and Turkish language skills.



Reporting to the Head of Legal & Compliance of Turkey based in İstanbul, his/her principal duties and responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the local Business Unit in Turkey providing proactive support, responsiveness and a high quality of work.


• Identifying and mitigating areas of legal risk for the business.


• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.


• Participating in the dispute resolution process, analysing claims, negotiating settlement agreements.


• Advising the Management on legal matters.


• Managing and coordinating with external counsels, monitoring their costs.


• Training and educating operational teams in matters of contract law and negotiations.


• Ensuring compliance with local laws.


• Ensuring compliance with the Group policies, implementing internal controls.


• Managing company/corporate law matters in relation with external counsels.
