A leader in the market, this wholesale distributor provides a diverse portfolio of products across the retail channels.
Due to organic growth, they seek an enthusiastic and self motivated Regional Sales Manager to lead and develop the sales team on a regional basis.
Based in Victoria and reporting to the National Sales Manager, the core responsibilities will include maintaining and growing business with existing key clients, as well as developing new business opportunities across the region. You will be responsible for mentoring and guiding the sales team to ensure they deliver to the best of their ability and grow as professionals. This is a highly hands on role which requires commercial awareness and great industry knowledge.
To be successful in this position you will possess a proven sales background within FMCG. Ideally you will have at least 3-5 years sales management experience mentoring sales professionals selling into the retail/independent channel. The independent channel in particular is desired. You will be a strong communicator with a demonstrated track record of exceeding targets, paired with a forward thinking and innovative attitude. You will be willing to travel on a regular basis.
